OUR STORY
At Avant Ski, we are transforming how recreational skiers and riders discover their optimal mountain experiences. Here’s how it all started: After purchasing a multi-resort pass for the 2017-18 season, my family was planning two ski trips. Unfortunately, snowfall was at record lows across the Rockies. After spending time in Utah with poor conditions, we were skeptical of our plan to go to Colorado. We had become creatures of habit, frequenting the same places, but it was time to branch out. We began researching other resorts that would fit our desires AND have good conditions, but found existing resources lacked helpful information for non-extreme skiers...and Avant Ski was born.

ALLI'S EARLY DAYS
Alli's ski roots date back to straight skis and freezing cold Januarys in the Northeast. A New Jersey native, she made her first turns at Okemo, then begged her parents to try every resort within a 6 -hour driving radius, raced for her local high school team at Vernon Valley (now Mountain Creek) and dreamed of what it would be like to ski the legendary powder of the West.
WEEKEND WARRIOR
Alli attended Stanford University and studied biology and economics. During her college years, she leveraged her West Coast base with regular weekend trips to Lake Tahoe and Utah. After all, if you can ski the East, you can ski anywhere! She returned to NYC after college and spent more than a decade on Wall Street, fitting in as many weekend trips (and red eyes) as she possibly could.
FAMILY SKIER
Now the mother of two small boys, time is always of the essence. Rather than lament the fact that there was no Mountain Collective during her weekend warrior days, Alli set out to find the best family friendly resorts. Today, her family’s multi-generation trip is the highlight of each season! While dedicated to getting the kids on skis, she's also focused on the steeps & deeps (ensuring she can still keep up with her boys in 10 years).
